Do you want to decorate your house for winter but don’t think you have the time to? Well I have the perfect solution and it takes just under 5 minutes to do!
Materials: Iridescent sprinkles (fake snow), mason jar, fake miniature tree
How To: Fill the mason jar with the fake snow up until the third or fourth tick mark, stick the tree in the center of the snow, sprinkle some more snow on top of the tree, and cap the jar.
Recently I went to go to get my nails done at The Nail Lounge and I absolutely loved it! It also inspired me to post about my favorite polish colors for fall and winter.
On my nails I always love doing an accent on my ring finger, whether that be nail art or a different color. For these upcoming months, I like doing a silver or gold accent nail with the rest of my nails being a deep red or purple. A color I enjoy using for the rest of my nails is “Visions of Love” by OPI (seen in the picture above). I think it’s perfect for this time of year because it’s dark red hue has a relaxed intensity to it that is not overwhelming in comparison to my fair skin.
What are your go to colors for this time of year? Do you like doing accent nails or just all one color? Comment down below!
As most of you know, I’m a big fan of vintage inspired apparel. For my OOTD today I put on my favorite fall colors, black and maroon, and included my favorite cold weather staples– a collar and black sheer tights.

Today I am trying something a little new and doing a food post.
Two of my all time favorite sweets are sour patch watermelon and dark chocolate, and I wondered why not combine these two lovable treats!
Dark chocolate chips
Sour Patch Watermelon
Step 1: Pour your dark chocolate chips into a bowl and melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then take out the bowl, stir it, and put it back in for another 15 seconds and stir until it is in a liquidy state.
Step 2: Take your sour patch watermelon and put it into the bowl of melted dark chocolate. Stir around each candy until it is completely covered. When it is covered, place it onto a
large plate covered in parchment paper. Repeat this process until you have your desired amount of treats.
Step 3: Place the plate into the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. After the 15
minutes is up, take the plate out and let it cool some more in room temperature.
Today the temperature was more on the comfortable side, so I pulled out my black tights and jean jacket and whipped up this outfit to share with all of you:)
Denim Jacket: Forever 21
Long Sleeve Crop Top: Forever 21
Black Sheer Tights: Hue
Blue High Tops: Converse (Nordstrom)
Floral Skirt: American Eagle Outfitters
During these winter and fall months a staple item that I absolutely love wearing are my Doc Martens.
I personally like to wear my multicolor floral ones with a leggings and an oversized t-shirt or sweater. I could walk for days in my boots because of it’s soft and comfy sole. However, a downside to these loveable shoes are it’s lengthy breaking in time. To break them in I basically walked a lot. This caused a lot of pain and blisters, but it was all worth it because now I have a pair of shoes that I could wear with anything and will last me a lifetime. What is your favorite type of shoe? Let me know in the comments:)
